Product Introduction
The Thru Tubing Packer is a highly efficient downhole support system for low-pressure gas well stimulation. It allows a stable tubing string to be suspended inside the production tubing, which significantly improves the gas well's ability to carry liquids and restores stable wellbore production. The system is typically run into the wellbore with coiled tubing or conventional tubing, where a setting tool performs the setting, releasing, and other steps to position and activate the string.
Once set, the packer functions as a stable production string. Later, a conventional or coiled tubing string with a GS-type fishing tool performs a mechanical release to retrieve the entire packer assembly, which is useful for maintenance or adjusting wellbore conditions.
Compared to traditional surface-hung velocity string technology, this in-tubing suspension method effectively shortens the coiled tubing length between the packer and the wellhead, reducing material and construction costs. It also offers quick deployment, reliable setting, and smooth release, making it suitable for old wells or low-pressure wells that need rapid stimulation and technological upgrades.
