The unique 2-degree or 3-degree compound ramp structure provides a smooth and continuous passage from the main bore to the branch interval, allowing longer rotary steerable assemblies to pass through the window smoothly.

The guide-block and rail structure protects the whipstock pressure plate during milling and keeps the milling path precise and controllable. Both the whipstock and packer are recoverable, supporting follow-on operations.
