High-temperature mud motor and tool-string application in plug milling
In HPHT plug milling, temperature can reduce metal fatigue life, accelerate rubber aging, affect motor efficiency, and challenge tool-string circulation and debris transport. ASBR supports CT milling of ball seats, cement plugs, and dissolvable plugs through high-temperature rubber, sealing structure, bearing system, and power-tool configuration.
Challenge
At around 200°C well temperature, conventional mud motors and sealing systems may face rubber aging, swelling, permanent deformation, rubber loss, thermal-expansion sticking, and reduced torque output. CT plug milling also needs stable power transmission and debris transport under high temperature, high friction, and pressure fluctuation.
Tool and process configuration
ASBR configures high-temperature mud motors, high-temperature rubber seals, temperature-resistant bearing systems, and high-efficiency mills for HPHT conditions. Tool-string matching considers CT flow rate, circulating pressure, outlet control, and debris transport requirements for ball seats, cement plugs, and dissolvable plugs.

Result review
