The ASBR Ultra-Short Radius Mud Motor is designed for short-radius sidetracking, directional drilling, and horizontal well operations. It features a high build-up rate, large torque, high drilling efficiency, a compact structure, and strong composite drilling capabilities. Unlike a traditional adjustable first-stage motor, this second-stage motor uses a fixed build-up structure. This allows for composite drilling without the need to replace the stabilizer, which is simpler and more efficient than changing stabilizers. It is especially suitable for short-radius sidetracking and drilling in complex well conditions.
Product Features
Extreme Build-Up Rate: The ultra-short bend sub distance design gives it a build-up capability far beyond that of a traditional mud motor. The maximum theoretical build-up rate can reach 193.6°/30m (radius of curvature 8.9m), meeting high build-up rate demands.
High Torque Output, More Efficient Composite Drilling: Building on the adjustable build-up rate of a first-stage motor, the ASBR motor uses a fixed build-up second-stage design. This enables composite operations without replacing the stabilizer, which is more convenient than the traditional method and significantly boosts operational efficiency.
Compact Structure, Fast Penetration: The short-structure design significantly reduces overall length, improving downhole maneuverability, decreasing friction, and increasing the rate of penetration (ROP).
Stable Toolface Control: The optimized structure ensures the toolface remains stable, reducing drilling deviation and improving wellbore trajectory control accuracy.
High Reliability, Long Service Life: Made from high-strength, wear-resistant alloy materials, it has an extended service life, reduced maintenance frequency, and improved operational safety.
