Downhole Automatic Diverter Tool

The Auto-Divert Circulation Valve is an intelligent diversion tool that automatically switches fluid direction d on changes in flow rate. During downhole operations, it enables automatic switching between direct flow and bypass, which increases the fluid distribution efficiency of the tool string.

Operating Modes

Low-Flow Mode: Direct Flow Mode

·       When the flow rate is below the preset bypass activation value, all fluid passes directly through the mud motor to the lower tool, ensuring the mud motor operates at its optimal flow rate.

High-Flow Mode: Automatic Bypass Mode

·       When the flow rate exceeds the bypass activation value, the bypass nozzle opens automatically. A portion of the fluid is diverted through the bypass channel into the annulus, which improves wellbore cleaning efficiency.

·       The increase in bypass flow effectively overcomes the flow limitations of the mud motor, allowing the entire tool string to handle higher flow rate operations.
